Academic Portuguese Translation Services
Boston, MA – October 2016 – Language Connections, is a language service provider for several local Higher Education institutions. We regularly partner with several departments at institutions of higher learning during multilingual academic events. Recently, we worked with one university’s School of Government during an Executive Education Program which took place in Brasilia, the capital of Brazil. The program is one of several international programs offered by the university’s graduate level institution for public policy and public administration. Language Connections provided comprehensive education translation services in Portuguese for this program.
The School of Government’s Executive Education Program is designed to help political and economic leaders address a range of critical issues, both globally and locally, from crisis leadership to economic development and national security. This year’s talks in Brazil included topics on leadership and how to deal with bureaucracy in the interest of promoting innovation. Speakers ranged from experts in public policy to HKS directors and program coordinators.
Portuguese Translation Services
Language Connections was responsible for translation services for a large volume of preparatory materials into Brazilian Portuguese distributed to participants prior to their attending the program. These included several case studies and numerous relevant background articles. We also provided a complete set of Portuguese translation for program lecture materials comprised of PowerPoint slide presentations, handouts and other related lecture materials including study guide questions. All translations were adapted for a Brazilian Portuguese audience by our expert Portuguese translators.
