Spanish Medical Translator for MLP | Boston
December 2016 – Boston, MA – Language Connections, a professional language translation and interpreting services company based in Boston, works with various medical institutions and healthcare organizations to provide professional life sciences translation services. Over the years we have developed a large network of Spanish medical translators, recently requested by one of our clients, Medical-Legal Partnership Boston (MLP | Boston).
Founded in 1993 at the Boston Medical Center, MLP | Boston is an organization that advocates for better healthcare in underprivileged local communities by providing legal services. It strives to bridge the gap between lower income communities and access to healthcare and human services by providing pro bono legal counsel as well as other types of assistance.
Spanish Medical Translation
In a recent project with MLP | Boston, Language Connections was asked to provide the Spanish translation of a parent’s guide available on the organization’s website.The guide focuses on educating parents on issues regarding their children’s safety and health. Upon the request of the client, our Spanish medical translator localized and adapted the content for a Latin American Spanish audience living in the United States. Our translation project manager then used Desktop Publishing (DTP) software to properly format and fit the text in the designated areas to correlate exactly with the original English text.
