Japanese Simultaneous Interpreting for Drone Workshop
January 2017 – Boston, MA – Language Connections, a professional interpretation and translation services provider based in Boston,regularly partners with Acclaro – a linguistic services company – to provide conference interpreting services for clients in various businesses and industries, including Advanced Technology. In a recent project we provided Japanese simultaneous interpreting services for a client in the electronics industry that hosted a workshop in San Mateo, CA.
The client is a US-based company that provides device protection and support services for smartphones, tablets, and consumer electronics. Some of the participants at the workshop were native Japanese speakers and required Japanese simultaneous interpreting services to fully benefit from the workshop. Topics centered on the US drone market, including growth projections and commercial use, a booming and relatively new market.

In order to fully ensure that everyone on the interpreting team had the level of understanding required for this event, specifically fluency of technical terminology in both languages, we flew one of the interpreters into San Mateo for the workshop.
