Mandarin Chinese Interpreter for InTeahouse International Summit
October 2017, Boston MA – Language Connections, a Boston interpreting and translation services provider, works with many types of companies in the process of propagating their businesses globally. Recently, we partnered with InTeahouse – a company that helps connect investors with entrepreneurs.
The client requested a Mandarin Chinese interpreter for technology executives attending an international summit in Boston.
A Summit Promoting Investment Abroad
InTeahouse frequently hosts industry-focused summits that attract Chinese investors, corporate executives and government leaders. These gatherings provide unique opportunities for fundraising, greater access to the Chinese market, and the opportunity to build strong business partnerships with Chinese companies.
The event for which we were asked to provide simultaneous interpreting was co-organized by the Emerging Industry International Cooperation Summit and the Dongguan Bureau of Commerce. The purpose of the summit was to establish investment opportunities between cities in Massachusetts and Dongguan, a city in central Guangdong Province of Southern China.
In addition, it helped establish a platform to promote technological innovation in both regions.
Chinese Conference Interpreting Services
The conference in Boston was hosted by the Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Investment, Cambridge City Hall. Among the featured speakers were the Mayor of Dongguan, Mayor of Cambridge, the Dean at MIT’s Office of Digital Learning and the CTO of iRobot.
Attendees included several CEO’s from leading technology companies in China, including executives from the automotive, electronics and biopharmaceutical industries.
Language Connections was asked to provide Chinese conference interpreting services during the lectures and meetings which took place throughout the course of the day.Our team of simultaneous Mandarin Chinese interpreters was selected based on their experience working in high profile events, and their knowledge of the industry terminology discussed in both languages.
Additionally, we provided all technical support and interpreting equipment, including a soundproof interpreters booth and receivers for over 100 attendees requiring interpreting services.
