German Delegates Visit Boston’s Academic Institutions
Language Connections provided consecutive interpreting services for a group of German delegates visiting academic institutions in Boston in mid-November. The delegates were representatives from the Bavarian Parliament (Landtag of Bavaria) appointed to the State’s Committee for Science and Art, as well as members of the State Ministry of Education, Culture, Economics, and Art. Our role was to interpret a speech from German to English by Joel Bressler, the Director of Tech Transfer, at Northeastern University.
