Academic Chinese Simultaneous Interpreters
January 2017 – Boston, MA – Language Connections, a professional interpretation and translation services company based in Boston, partners with many different departments at Higher Education institutions in the Boston area. One of our recent projects involved Chinese simultaneous interpreters, specifically Mandarin Chinese interpreting services, for a Global Advisory Council Meeting sponsored by the Center for Chinese Studies at one of Boston’s major business schools.
This year’s event consisted of a series of talks on a number of topics for which we provided Chinese simultaneous interpreting, including the latest in gene editing techniques (CRISPR or Clustered Regularly Interspaced Palindromic Repeats) as well as immediate applications, and economic policies facing the newly elected U.S. administration.The event, for which we also provided interpreting last year, was led by the Univesity’s Alumni Affairs & Development panelists and guest speakers.
