Chinese Interpreters at Med School Workshop

Recently they requested simultaneous, Mandarin Chinese interpreting services for a four-day training workshop attended by a group of Chinese clinicians.

The main focus of the program was on China’s role in medicine. Events throughout the four days ranged from lectures and group discussions on study design optimization methods and issues involving clinical trials, to several networking opportunities.
Our simultaneous interpreting team facilitated over the course of the program, ensuring that all participants were able to both engage with and follow discussions. To ensure that the visiting clinicians were able to participate during lectures in real time, high-tech interpretation equipment was provided in the form of a soundproof interpreters’ booth and receivers.
Overall the event was a success, and we look forward to further partnerships with the university in the future!
