Chinese Medical Interpreting for Neurology Course

In one of the hospital’s recent medical training programs, we were asked to provide Mandarin Chinese interpreting services. As lectures were given in English, we were asked to facilitate for Mandarin Chinese speakers attending the program.
Medical Chinese Interpreting Services
Sponsored in conjunction with the Chinese Maternal and Child Health Association on Neonatal Neurology Medicine, the course was composed of highly technical subject matter, and required that interpreters have knowledge of specific terminology in the field in both languages, English as well as Mandarin Chinese. We selected a team of our Chinese simultaneous interpreters with expertise in conference interpreting and a strong background in neonatal neurology. The interpreted speech was tailored to a mainland Chinese audience. We also supplied all of the necessary interpreting equipment for the event, including a soundproof interpreter booth and portable headsets and receivers for Chinese participants.
