Corporate Interpreter for a Trademark Conference

Boston, MA –Language Connections is one of the oldest Boston-based interpretation and translation services companies.  We recently brought our nearly 30-years of experience to help Japan’s patent offices with an international trademark conference in Boston.  For this event, we supplied a corporate interpreter for Japanese, Korean, and Chinese participants, as well as interpreting equipment.

Finding a Qualified Corporate Interpreter

Our client expressed a few requirements for this project: finding the most qualified, top-notch interpreters for conferences and ensuring that our conference interpreting was delivered by people with a background in the trademark field.  To meet both requirements, we cast our net worldwide to find the best interpreters with the correct experience.  Frequently, to save the client money, conference interpreting agencies will go local.  Because having experience in the trademark industry is an especially rare qualification, Language Connections expanded our reach globally.  Once we found a corporate interpreter pool with the correct background, we carefully selected only the best interpreters who were deeply experienced in providing conference interpreting services.  We then coordinated the flights and hotels for each company interpreter, since none of them lived close to the conference.

The last element of customer service that Language Connections provided for this client was to set up, support, and take down the equipment.  Since we were providing language support for Korean, Japanese, and Chinese participants, we provided 3 different, full booths and 30 receivers.

Results

Language Connections was pleased to hear back from our clients that our corporate interpreter services were indeed top notch and helped make sure the conference proceeded successfully.  We are always pleased to know that we’ve met a client’s expectations.  However, we’re especially pleased when the client asks for top-shelf service and we exceed their expectations!
